This paranormal mystery from Mad Head, distributed by Friendly Fox, will keep you on the edge of your seat. You must play mind games to escape your captor. Of course, your tormentor is certifiably insane, and it’s not exactly great news that you are trapped in an abandoned mental hospital. Even the police won’t help you! It’s a thrilling and frightening adventure with horror and intrigue mixed together. The tasks are interesting and quirky, and you will enjoy the terrific HO scenes and mini-games. This exciting adventure is a must-play and purchase! If I say any more, I will be giving you spoilers and you do not want me to do so. Thank you so much to Friendly Fox for releasing this gem, which was a request that I had made. It means the world to me! The only spoiler has nothing to do with this game. Towards the end of April, our beloved Friendly Fox will release an installment in the Living Legends series. So now you have something else to eagerly await!

I really enjoyed this game and find it enjoyable. In the past I purchased quite a few games from Apple. This was the first game I purchased a game since 2019 and was surprised to see how much games cost and to add to the price there is now a tax. I will probably limited my purchases, however this game was worth the cost..

Mad Head did it: They “created a monster”! Somehow, they concocted a psychologically traumatizing masterpiece that interweaves a spine-tingling, hanging-on-to-the-edge-of-your-seat plot with disturbingly macabre imagery and chilling, fight-till-the-end gameplay. You’re driving down a seemingly quiet, desolate road; and all of a sudden, you crash your car and wind up kidnapped by an evil psychopath. You’re then forced to undergo your most trying tribulation yet, as you fight for your life against all odds while finding your way out of your imprisonment. True to this series, the visuals and ambiance are unnerving and ill-boding, cultivating a feeling of trepidation while I traverse the haunting asylum, and amplifying a fear of what obscured, hideous secret might be released from behind the dark shadows. The creepy background effects, such as the eerie screams of torture and the ominous musicality, are frighteningly immersive, adding layers of suspense and inducing quite a few jump scares. The gameplay is outdated considering this game was released a few years ago. The hidden object scenes mostly comprise word lists with minimal interactivity. The puzzles, which suit your objectives, are heavy on the rotational type; some might take some time to work out. The collectibles are inconspicuously blended into the environments. To sum it up, I think the storyline resembles a catchy horror-like movie; however, the gameplay is a bit underwhelming due to the lack of creativity within the hidden-object scenes, except for a few. I still really enjoyed playing this game, so my 4.5 rating is bumped up to 5 stars.
