Matter - 3D Effects

I love this app! And I’m not saying that in typical internet hyperbolic fashion, I’m being genuine. I’ve been consistently using Matter for 2-3 years now, & it’s never disappointed. It’s allowed me to create digital art I didn’t know was possible w/o expensive software &/or computer degree. It’s a unique editing tool, & even after trying most top photo editors/effects apps I’ve yet to find anything comparable! It provides an unusual effect of 3D objects (in basic, organic, abstract, sci fi etc shapes) to pics. With customization of the objects surface (like reflect, transparent, edge fade etc), color (if desired), shadows (control shadow floor, direction of highlights, opacity & blur), masking tool, video options & much more!! You can make the effect look as “real” as possible, or make it totally abstract, & anything in between. Thanks to the impressive variety, styles, controls & tools, you can let your imagination run wild & create amazing pieces of digital art. Thank you to everyone behind Matter! Your app has fueled my creativity, imagination, & my artwork. For real, you’re awesome!

Matter suddenly stopped rendering video clearly when I’m using a solid black or solid white background and using front reflection. The video plays fine on my iPad but when I export it to the camera roll then the rendered video is blurry. It wasn’t like this before. If I use a background with imagery then it renders fine. Go figure. OK - Changing my review to 5 stars based on Kyle’s quick response. As Kyle pointed out, Matter’s video render resolution depends on the background image resolution. Since I was using a low resolution black background, the video rendered in low resolution. Live and learn! Thanks Kyle! You’re the best!

I love this app. It does a little more than the average graphic photo app... It is really 3D and it lets you add music... the object really moves, pulsates if you add sound, and to the beat of the music, it will hover, and spin in different directions.. you can add as many objects but thats the one thing if you adda new object it will disengage the first movement but move itself, ... you can add serious real looking shadows... its great .. and the style reflective or see through glowing octagon its endless with shape and style....great job, Pixite has a great family of apps....
