Mathe Alarm Clock - Math Alarm

This is truly a life changing app in terms of waking up in the mornings! I’m a tough sleeper and tend to silence or cancel alarms in my sleep. Math Alarm forced me to get up, so I could finally wake up early without problems. The only thing I noticed is that you HAVE to leave the app open before you go to sleep or it just won’t go off. I have a habit of closing out all my apps before turning off my phone and it has been a struggle to remember to leave it open and a lot of the time my alarm just won’t go off because I forgot. This is a pain and honestly so frustrating because I have to delete the app and reinstall it every time so that I don’t have to go through all those math problems when I decide to set my alarms for the next day. I also have to redo all my alarms when I have to reinstall it. But that’s no error on the developers part, just something frustrating to keep in mind. Otherwise, this app is amazing and has no other problems waking you up!

This one is great. Several of the alarms generate random patterns so you’re less likely to get too familiar with the alarm sound. It also lets you lock the alarms so you can’t snooze them. There is an annoying issue that causes the app to occasionally freeze up and stop sounding the alarm. I *think* it’s due to this app’s alarm being set at the same exact time as my phone’s built-in alarm. It’s started happening much less once I started setting the alarms at different times. Sadly after a few months I learned how to do math without waking up, and then I learned to entirely delete the app without waking up. Now I find myself reinstalling the app every day because I delete it in my sleep most mornings. That’s not the fault of the app developer or the app itself though (the 4 start rating is due to the freezing issue). I still use this daily as a backup alarm in case I don’t hear my other alarms and I still consider it a must-have for anyone who has serious problems waking up. EDIT: just noticed other people have complain about the freezing/crashing issue. Yes it’s inconvenient but other math alarms have similar or worse problems. It seems to be a common problem for these types of apps

I don’t usually review apps but this one works well for me. Actually gets me up in the morning. Reduced my total alarms down from about 10 to four 30 minute math question alarms. One suggestion I have for the developer is to introduce a dark mode when starting the app at night. It’s hard to look at screen at night with white background. I understand the light mode in morning but not at night. Would totally purchase pro for that feature. One bug that I would like looked into for next version is having the alarms canceled or expire if they haven’t gone off for an extended period of time. Whenever I force close the app for phone slowness of the device (not the app) or the phone shuts down for dead battery. Then keep the app closed for a day or so. The next time I open the app all the alarms turn on in order with the ad running afterwards. (Probably should get the + version to get rid of ad problem). Sometimes the alarms play over the ads as well. Reason why I reported this was because it could be embarrassing having the alarms going off at full volume at 4 AM. Especially if you have a roommate or possibly a neighbor that probably doesn’t want to wake up with you at 4 AM. Hope this review helps a little
