Made - Story Maker & Collage

I have the paid version of this app, and while I love the templates, large selection of backgrounds and font options, I’ve been having a lot of freezing lately, glitches where my template doesn’t save after I save it (and have to completely recreate it). Aside from that, I have noticed that the save quality isn’t very good. When I upload my saved page, the colors are muted and not as vibrant (especially with text), and slightly blurry/softened instead of how crisp they appear in-app. I looked in the settings to see if there was an option for the image quality at which a page is saved and found nothing. This probably bothers me the most and I’m considering whether I’ll want to renew at this point since I want clear, crisp stories.

I downloaded the Made app and was excited about using it until I came across so many dysfunctions I was incredibly disappointed and stopped using the app altogether and will be cancelling my subscription. Here are my major issues with the app, and I’m sure that I’ll find more if I have the patience to use it again: 1) The MADE watermark on some of the templates is just too much. Make it smaller please. It really effects the quality of the story page. 2) It is IMPOSSIBLE to type and update captions!!! When I click to update a caption the area gets really dark and I can’t even see the words I’m typing. Then I make typos and when I go to fix them, the cursor jumps to the end of the paragraph over and over again, not allowing me to edit. It is SO ANNOYING, I honestly haven’t used your templates because of this. I get incredibly frustrated and close your app and use another one. 3) It’s impossible to make the text box bigger or smaller. We need to be able to change the size of the text box. As it is right now, we can’t make it bigger or smaller to fit our formatting needs. Another reason I shut down your app and use another one. Honestly makes me wonder if you all did any user testing at all?! Because surely they would have said something about these things!!

I really like this app and hope they will allow people like me to offer feedback which will take it further and help them compete with other, well known Story-Apps. I see great potential and would love to talk with whoever it is with creativity input because they obviously think outside the box. One feature that is not available in any story app is the ability to time movement and the problem is Screen changes that don’t allow time to read them. I have lots of creative ideas, but no programming skill, so I hope we can exchange ideas. Made is currently a great app, but it can leap to the top.
