I love the app and it’s details but how come I can’t save favorites? Please get this updated. I love going to new and nice places but without being able to save my favorites, it makes me want to go somewhere where I can save like VRBO.
Booked two prior villa vacations with Luxury Retreats. The new ownership by Airbnb has not only ruined their website, but company reputation as well. Our recent villa vacation to Mallorca included a luxury villa. Although the villa was beautiful, we were subject to both electrical and air conditioning issues which could not be remediated during our entire stay. Attempted to use the built in coffee machine that caused the electrical service on half of the first floor to fail. Additionally, one of the bedrooms was without air conditioning. They attempted to fix the unit, but determined that was not possible during our stay. The property owner was not willing to provide the requested 5% refund we requested. Mind you, 5%!!!! Luxury Retreats has done nothing to support our request. So much for complete concierge service. There is currently no way to complete a review on their website, let alone save a favorite or provide a customer service contact to elevate or get a response to any concern a customer might have. The Airbnb corporation has taken a company that has provided the highest level of service to one that doesn’t even meet minimally acceptable standards. Hopefully, this feedback will bring something positive to restore the Luxury Retreat brand.
I used to love to get on this app and just search spots that I would like to visit. I can’t count the number of hours that I spent doing this. My friends and I REALLY enjoy traveling to nice places and this was a great way to find that spot. You could save spots. You could sort by price. You could share lists with friends to let them look and vote on places. I started to get a bit annoyed with the recent updates which deleted all my saved villas, frustrating to say the least. The website and the app were also TOTALLY different and things saved on one didn’t show up on the other. Now I might just done with them unless these comments help. You can’t save favorites. I searched for Central America and it pulled up in addition multiple places in Jamaica. I can no longer sort price high to low or low to high, or sort by bedrooms high to low or low to high. Webpage picture load so slow now. Can’t I’m guessing the transition to Air B&B has a lot to do with it. There’s not even a contact us on their page so that I could leave this comment so I’m doing it on the app. Feels like they’ve lost touch with their clientele. It’s too bad, I liked this site way more than other luxury villa sites, but now they’ve reduced themselves to nothing better. Please make this work again LR!
