Lumo Stories: Fiction & Novels

I recently updated this from the old your stories version accidentally, and wow is this version ever worse. Just a slight nudge to the side when trying to scroll down and you’re on to the next chapter, and subsequently at the top of the one you were reading. Surely this is a fixable problem, and one I’d be happy to remove this review for, were it fixed.

The features on this app could use some work. For starters, the wait time to release per chapter feels inconsistent. I waited 3 days for a chapter to release, only for the process to restart. Not to mention, the free stardust system that the app offers doesn’t work???? The app won’t allow me to watch the ad to get it for free. Plus the starter pack is for stardust is 10$ but offers less stardust than the regular 10$ pack??? Overall very finicky.

Don’t get me wrong, this app has some pretty great gems on their shelves. However, if you think this app is going to be as clean and smooth of an experience such as Webnovel and Wattpad; I’m sorry but you’re going to be disappointed. The app is slow to react to a single touch, and then it pops up into a billion popups. You can’t even make reading lists without the system crapping itself. In addition, one wrong touch, and boom, you’re at the top of the chapter and you’ve lost your spot. I hate to say it, but even the mobile browser version of this app is BETTER than the app itself. I see this being a great app, but it is in EXTREMELY rough shape.
