Luma: Events & Invites

The app is very sleek and modern, but there are some key aspects that should be added to make it more functional. I’m hoping that this app will eventually replace Meetup, which is very clunky and outdated. BUT They should add a “SAVE” option for each event, where you are simply saving it because maybe you don’t know if you can attend yet. Even meetup has that function. There should also be an option to say “interested” or or “maybe”. There should also be a MAP option, where you can look at a map in the app and see what events are near you in the timeframe you choose- Such as the upcoming weekend. Will update my review if they add some more functions.

I think luma is manifestation of post labour economics! It is pre AGI. Because when AGI comes and no one has jobs and no one has to work we still have to do something! It is that - luma allows us to come together, have a good time, talk about the future! Luma is an app for managing your 2000 friends. It is like a church! I go to luma events every day! I am a luma queen🤪I live only for luma events! It gives me friends and even lovers! I met so many boyfriends on luma! Please, come to luma and you will be all set for life! Thanks to creator of luma! He is serving community very well!

Love this platform though it’s always hard as an early adopter because features come and go! They’re doing a good job focusing in and it looks beautiful and makes for a great branded experience. Light years ahead of eventbrite etc. The only thing I’m missing big time is the ability to book more than one week at a time. Please bring back multi session events!! And keep up the beautiful work. (Custom urls were rad too. Sad that is a paid feature now but I get it). If you host online events—use Luma!!
