Ollo there . Even without the benefits, the ease, the superior quality of their restaurants, plus points for your birthday, AND POINTS for every time you dine out, this card is worth it . It’s honestly one of the better dining cards I’ve ever owned . I got it as a present for me “ cutie Bear” and I , and was soo happy to see both “ Morton’s” AND “ Palms”restaurant on it , with more than a dozen other places! As well, no snotty looks and comments when presented to our waitstaff. In fact they all look proud, that “ Cutie Bear” and I have this card! Pretty colours as well . I have been a LSC member since 2009 and I love it! It encourages me to eat at restaurants that I haven’t tried before, also visiting some of my old favorites. They are always good! When I go on vacation that’s when I really use it because I’m discovering places I don’t know about as a tourist. The best perk besides anniversary and birthday rewards is the fact that I have been to multiple places that had hour plus long waits and I was sat with in 20 mins. I actually do it very often just to test it. I’m just saying who doesn’t like skipping the line? They are adding more places all the time. I’d at least give it a try because you don’t loose out on anything, once you pay the $25 it’s available to use immediately so you don’t loose anything. I’ve never had a problem asking my server or the manager about redeeming my credits or gaining my points.
I am a Orlando Fl resident. So went to Salt Grass, Rain Forest and T Rex in Orlando all within past two weeks. Each one has stopped doing the walk up front of the line perk. It was only a 15-25 wait at each place but each manager stated that it’s “just too busy” to do it. The manager at Rain Forest told me they had 38 members they did not give it to on Saturday. Not sure how that was supposed to make me feel better, especially in a location that probably turns 500 to 600 tables in 5 to 6 hours, Rain Forest in Disney Springs is MASSIVE for those who have never been. I even received a call from who I can only assume was a District Manager type who really did not seem to care and could not understand why I was confused this perk was just taken away with no email warning ( I get several a WEEK so it’s easy enough to tell patrons ). I have no idea if corporate is aware that it was decided at a lower level to remove the most valuable perk, one that will lose my business if it truly is gone, or a very poor decision at a lower level in a demographic area. A better solution would be to alternate a Landry select member then a non Landry select member. At least that is something. I am sorry you have become too successful to continue this perk for your most loyal customers. But I am sure this business decision will decrease your customer base and bring you back to a more manageable level across the country. I know if this perk is removed my associates and I who travel will not be frequenting near as often, as I am assuming this is a corporate move across the entire chain. Very poor form.
