When I use my storage on a game which looks fun and has so many five star reviews, I expect it to be good. I do not expect to get stuck on level three and be forced to give up or spend money. Being a thirteen year old boy and saving my money to actually socialise, and because I am not a complete logo nerd, I decided to not spend any money, so within a minute the game had become worthless. I immediately deleted the game, being conscious of how much storage I was using on my brand new phone. Within five minutes of seeing the game on the App Store it had driven me to delete it. I could not work out why it had so many five star reviews, until I saw a five star review complaining about how unfair the review system of the game was. If you give the game a five star review you receive 50 coins, which I gather is a rather substantial amount. In conclusion, if anyone sees this review, I hope it persuades you to not waste your precious storage on this app, and the creators should seriously think about free hints to get started or level difficulty being altered.
Giving 50 coins for 5 star reviews should be illegal!! It makes all your reviews unfair. And the only way you get 5 stars because people want those flipping coins! Here you go as well. I need my 50 coins too. Coz I'm stuck as everyone else. But this technique should definitely be banned in Appstore for all apps that use it!!! There is no way I would ever pay my money for more coins in this game. It's a real shame though. Potentially it could be really good and engaging game. Anyway thanks for good example you gave to fellow app developers on "how not to do" if you want to have a really successful product.
Firstly, you don't have to give 5* review to get the coins. As soon as it takes you to the App Store, go straight back to the app. The coins will have been credited. This app demands a lot of coins for clues/hints. You only get 3 per correct guess, and it costs about 60 just to give you one correct letter. There's no way to skip/pass a difficult logo without trying to be forced to pay. So if you get stuck, you're pretty much screwed unless you're willing to purchase coins. If this app wasn't so money grabbing then it could be an ok app. But considering the amount of difficulty some of the logos have, it quickly becomes an app that you'll delete. For those that don't know number 2, the answer in CADBURY. I'm currently stuck on 21.
