I visited Windhoek for a few days and LEFA was super helpful during my time there. The app was easy to set up, drivers were readily available, and fares were very affordable. Definitely recommend using this service to navigate your way around Namibia!
Quick setup, accurate mapping, fast driver response (even on Sunday!), and reasonable pricing. Would like mobile pay option instead of just cash, but that’s a minor hassle to get solid taxi transportation service in a city that is often too hot & hilly to walk
The app is great in its functionality, but I had two major issues when using it. I had to pay my driver with cash and he did not have correct change, which made things frustrating. There needs to be an option to pay with credit card or PayToday. Also, our driver showed up and did not have working seat belts in the car for my children. This should be a standard for all drivers with LEFA!
