I’ll give it 2-3 stars. The app itself is overall okay from what I got to see before I uninstalled it due to the obsessive amount of ads. I get you are able to purchase ad free as well but at least try not making it show an ad after every touch of your screen. (Too many ads) the app would also show pop ups about rating the app. It constantly got in the way and sometimes caused me to press the wrong things. (A lot of pop ups) I didn’t get the full experience of the app though sadly because of the amp of ads and not being able to pair via universal control for free. (Completely understandable!! Ya need to make money!) I would recommend at least try using the app before judging it off the bad reviews but I wouldn’t buy anything unless you’re positive that you can pair it with your lights for free first. Don’t bother! The app that the lightbulbs request you to download is sufficient. The first app that comes up, which also says a recommended. Is this app. So I downloaded both apps and went with the app the lightbulbs suggested, and tried that first. I had no problems with anything. Later on, I tried this app. Just to find out this app is a scam because it literally forces you to pay for a service which isn’t that demanding and they don’t mention you have to pay for the service to get any type of activity. I thought it was funny when I tried to watch the video on how to activate my lights with the light company I chose. The video completely skipped the fact that when you choose the lightbulbs manufacturer right after it sends you to a screen making you have to pay otherwise you can’t use the app. Looking at the app, it offers nothing more than what the free app offers. Although this app does offer a music service from a music service that you have to have a subscription for. So you’re already paying for the music service it’s not like this app gets you a free music service subscription. This app didn’t even offer a free trial. There wasn’t even a basic addition for not paying. It literally says pay or don’t use the app and from what I could see there is no reason why I would pay a ridiculous amount of money to make my lightbulbs change color. I have a free app that lets my lightbulbs change color perfectly fine with all of these same choices this app offers. So save your money and don’t waste your time. Thank you for reading.

Hi downloaded this app because it pops up when I typed in the name of a product I bought. But before you can even set the light bulb up the app tells you to purchase a subscription plan. At the time I still thought the app was legit so I purchased the $70/year plan. Right after the purchase went through I tried setting up the light bulb and it didn’t work at all I would just sit on the final set page. Within that same hour I contacted the app via email and told them not to finish the process of my payment because the app doesn’t actually operate the light bulb. I let them know I want the subscription cancelled. It has been almost a week and the subscription has now fully processed out of my bank account. I can’t even delete the app or account with them yet because I gotta make sure they refund me. I got one response via email the first night saying to provide screenshots and further explain the issue. Well I have and no response back so now I’m leaving a review this APP is garbage. Now refund my $70 and cancel my subscription.
