Learn PHP

I've been using solo learn in conjunction with one of those 800 page programming books you can get at the library. Super useful to get a quick and dirty introduction to the stuff the book dives deep into.

I have been programming for about 20 years. I am not great but can get done what I need. I am always trying to keep my skills up and review so I tried this app and I am very impressed. With my busy schedule I only go through one exercise a day usually but I've been using this for a while which has given me enough time to really use it and I am very impressed.

The content is well thought out and gives clear examples. It is one of the best tutorials I have seen. It does not have all the details for advanced SQL, but it does give a thorough introduction to the basics. Anyone wanting to get started with SQL (or PHP, ruby, HTML, CSS, etc) will find this an excellent resource.
