The app makes it difficult to proceed with lessons if you don’t rate it with 5 stars. Less than a 5 star review during the lesson requires you to explain your reasons in an email. If you don’t, then you won’t get recognized for completing the lesson. This is extremely coercive and dishonest, especially since this is a paid subscription. PS, Here is my response to the email the app developer sent me: “Your response was blatantly disingenuous. Pretending not to know that your app forces users into leaving a 5 star review before they can continue is insulting. This isn’t a mistake, it’s a scheme, and you know it. When I have the time, I’ll update my review to expose your deliberate manipulation that deceives people into buying your app, then coerces them into padding your ratings with more 5 star reviews just to use what they already purchased.”
