I’m no graphics expert, but using this app is OK. It does the simple things I need. However there are two changes I have recently noticed, and they are aggravating. First, the app recently forced me to repeat a safety instruction course online, even though I have been using it with my LP2 for nearly a year. I did a safety tutorial when I first got the unit. I can understand requiring a repeat if a user has not used the app for a long time, but I use it several times a month. Second, I can no longer compose a job without powering up my unit. The app pretends it will still allow a workup, bit when I add a picture, it will not actually appear in the workspace, intil the LP2 is on and paired. This was not a problem for the first six months or so. It baffles me why the app designers/aggravators would do this.

So frustrating to actually master the settings on something… Specifically, a YETI, then have an update change them – – and have to start over testing, at 30 bucks for the “try”… do better, guys! Happy to test your LP5, after the host of fails on purchased LP2 & LP4 wasted projects… and will happily update the review, as soon as solutions are offered!! 🫡🙂

Why can’t iOS user share projects any longer? For several updates you all have removed the prompt to share work when a job is completed. The software is slowly improving I will give you guys that. It’s very slow progress however and you’re making more products than you can provide adequate software for. The software for iOS is miles away from where it should be given the tech it’s for. More attention needs to go to your software deficits before releasing any more machines. The lasers are no use if the software handicaps the purpose we bought it.
