Korean Dictionary - Dict Box

This app offers a wide variety of dictionaries that should suffice for most purposes for rendering English words in Korean and Korean words in English. However it lacks one very important feature of similar programs: you cannot export a word list that includes definitions. By default, word lists include only the head words, and in order to include a definition, it is necessary to explicitly add it as a note. It would be highly desirable to add the ability to add a word to a list together with a selected definition, so that both can be exported together.

It is very well organized for user convenience. I use this dictionary in various functions for example looking for Chinese letter by searching the words in Korean. It is very useful. However, the ‘Korean-English’ dictionary function, the English vocabulary listed are not correct. It is because the pronunciation in Korean are the same. I understand its limitations. So I still use conventional dictionary, paper dictionary. The other area that I feel uncomfortable and need to further improve is its pronunciation and the connotation of pronunciation. Voice pronunciation and its corresponding connotation does not match correctly. I have to verify it with paper dictionary, too. In conclusion, this dictionary is the best out of many other applications. Appreciate it very much everyday. Thanks.

This is honestly such a good app! I’m currently learning Korean (been self teaching myself for about a year now!) and this is really great when I’m curious to know what a word is in Korean or when I forgot how to say something! They offer so many different meanings for each word and they provide example sentences, which is really helpful for learning context. I also find that this a great app for phrases too, it has basic phrases in its system and that’s so helpful to me especially when I want to practice offline. Moreover, I enjoy using the word reminder and flash cards, this app has taught me a lot of vocabulary and I’m still learning more. I would recommend this if you’re learning Korean or need a high quality translator. I’m not sure what the translation limit is as I’ve never hit it, but they allow you to search quite a few translations from what I’ve seen. I have no complaints, this app is well developed! I’m thankful to the app developer for all of their hard word! Thank you!😄
