KIRI Engine:3D Scanner & LiDAR

As someone who’s been making photogrammetry and scans, working in the fringes of 3-D volume metric capture, ethos of the Kiri app is right on. As you use it, you may find the things work differently then some of the apps and tools in the volumetric space operate faster, but Kiri feels like it has the most potential to support creative artist working in the area of experimental media. When I bought pro not only did I get Amazing features I also feel I’m supporting a project. It is genuinely enthusiastic about supporting creative workflows of artists and creativity.

I tried a lot of 3d scanner apps including pro subscriptions. Like pol…am, l…a 3d, etc. But KIRI gets the model I need most of the times. AND the pro subscription is way much cheaper than the other apps especially right now with BF sales. It also offer 3dgs to mesh in a much smooth way. Even IF you don't want to subscribe, it's photogrammtrey mode also beats poly and lu… miles away. Plus KIRI has the smallest raw file size, amazing.

Pros: Scans come out very well. Let you do in app scanning and importing prerecorded content. Cons: Model cropping needs to be improved. Compared to scaniverse this is a very tough and arduous experience. Model generation even with payed tier takes a while. I’ve noticed it may be faster if you submit another scan. It’s possible they use some auto terminating compute service and it can take time to acquire compute. Model editing environment needs a facelift.
