Kaiju Rush

Kaiju rush is one of my favorite games of all time. Smashing cities with my adorable Kaiju is truly an amazing feeling. It’s super fun to lay waste to any poor house that lays in my path. I would give this game a 5 star review if not for one glaring issue. The amount of bugs it has. There’s so many and they pop up frequently enough to make me not want to play the game. One extremely common bug is that when my Kaiju is running out of steam, it remains in its ball form, even when it stops moving completely unless you get a perfect launch. The only way to play the game again is if you close and reopen it. Another super common bug is when I hatch and/or open an egg. It’ll allow me to hatch one Kaiju but the button won’t work if I try it with another Kaiju. The only way to fix this is again, closing and opening the game. This is also the same when switching Kaijus. Another glitch is when an ad finishes loading, when when I tap off of it it just shows me a black screen. I hope that you can fix these glitches in a future update. One final note is just a minor problem. The amount of ads is just a tad too much. Instead of an ad every 2 rounds it would be better if an ad shows every 3-5 rounds. This game is extremely fun, but with its amount of bugs I can’t give it a 5/5 star until the bugs are fixed.

This game is adorable and so addictive, and besides that it feels very rewarding every time I unlock a new Kaiju or break a record. This game is tons of fun AND I’m not forced to pay for it. I still get to have all these different and cute kaiju and still get to play even if I don’t have a subscription. I enjoyed this game so much that I even paid to have the ads removed and it’s my favorite app so far (and I’ve played LOTS of apps). Every time I give a different game app a try, I ultimately always come back to this simple, satisfying, adorable and fun little game. Thanks for the fabulous game and for all the events and updates you continue to add to it. I love the little references to other kaiju from movies and the animations are fantastic! Please keep it so the subscription is optional. Even though I can’t afford a subscription, I’ve paid what I can to help support this game, and I appreciate that your team has been considerate of its players and allows us to feel like we’re achieving goals and succeeding.

This core of the game is interesting. A bunch of chibi monsters, bouncing around, destroying cities, that’s great. The problem is the unlocking of the monsters. So the first few you unlock are simple enough, wait a couple of minutes and the eggs you receive from completing levels hatch. However, after my third or fourth one, I see that it’s gonna take 30 minutes to hatch. I thought it was a little weird, but understandable I guess. It allows me to level up my current ones. However, as I unlock more and more, I’m being told I have to wait an hour and a half, 6 hours, 12 hours! Again, that would be fine I guess, if it weren’t for one thing; EVERY. SINGLE. MONSTER. PLAYS. THE. SAME. No changes in bounce height, power, rolling, nothing! So now I’m waiting 12 hours for a reskin of the same character, just to have to do it again. But guess what, you can just pay for more gems to hatch your eggs faster. So now I’m being encouraged to spend my money on skins, that add nothing to my game. This is EA levels of, “give me your money, please”. Since every single character is the same, and the wait times are so long, all your doing is killing any replay value. Yes, some people might stick around just to get all the different monsters, but at the end of the day, there is absolutely no other reason to play this game. It’s depressing honestly, a really cool concept just put to bed by a tedious gameplay style, and no reason to ever come back to this. It could be so much better, but as of right now, it’s a waste of time.
