I love having this app when I go to the gym. It helps me be a lot more confident in the weight section (often a pretty intimidating area for women). I’m following Tawna Eaubanks’ 8 week program and loving it. An improvement I’d like to see is the ability to quickly see how much weight and how many reps you performed previously when doing an exercise. Right now I’m going back to the week before and writing it down on a piece of paper. Having that info right in the app when it’s time to perform/record the current workout would be super helpful.
Pros: + It’s complete FREE! No add-ons or ads. Super awesome! + Workout program, specifically the promotional “12 week lean muscle trainer”, has been excellent. Really high quality. + initial video explaining the stretches/ exercises is super helpful for people just starting out. + easily laid out app for the most part. Recommendations: - starting on week 2 in the 12 week program mentioned above, the weight you can choose can’t go below 60lbs. This should be changed to week one lbs options available. - a body weight option for the lbs would also be a nice addition - sometimes photos for the exercise you’re doing don’t match up. For example, week 2 back day on 12 week lean muscle trainer has chin-ups listed with a photo example of a “pull-up”. - would love the option to see previous weights and reps lifted for repeated exercises during the workout. There doesn’t seem to be a point in marking your weights on the app if there’s no easy way to see what you previously did. Overall this is my favorite workout app due to it putting out high quality programs, with an easy to use app, and most importantly, being free. Keep up the solid work and I’ll continue to boast about the app to my friends and family. Cheers
Everything about this app is great, the programs are solid and the videos are great. But the exercise tracker is the thing that needs work. Not a lot, just some. It has 60 as the minimum weight... if I’m doing a plate press, then 45 isn’t even an option.. also needs a body weight option for pull ups and such. Last thing that would be nice is when you go to add another set, it would bring over what you previously did and you adjust from there. Outside of those small things, awesome app!!!
