This is great for learning the correct native pronunciation of the katakana, better learning to recognize the katakana, and practicing your own pronunciation. It's great to practice your reading speed and spelling out words and listening to them in katakana! The katakana themselves are also colorful and you can produce every sound in the Japanese language! Every single character is included from the small "tsu" to the little "yo" and of course the dakuten and handakuten characters! Vowels can also be lengthened with the "-" mark. If you learn best through play and exploration you'll most likely get a lot out of this app! I can't believe it is free!
