I have watched this app go to barebones reporting,. Lack of story content it‘s so basic and sparse, lacking background information, chock full of bad advertising which is more than news content, that I rarely ever use this app other than to check the weather. It wasn‘t always this way, back even a decade ago. But it‘s gotten so bad I was finally compelled to wrote this review.

Up to date news as it’s happening

It’s nice to get the alerts that provide a clue about whatever news story is being covered, however most times when I click on the alert expecting to see the story I get nothing that is actually related to it. When this occurs I simply swipe the app closed and get on with my life
