The KWWL team of meteorologists are outstanding in their work. It is no surprise that the KWWL weather team has won the award for excellence in weather broadcasting for 3 years in a row. Your team is accurate, precise, diligent, knowledgeable and professional in everything you do each and every day! Along with that, you are all good teachers. I learn about the science of meteorology when I watch the broadcast. Above all that, you care about your viewers and their safety. You track storms, inform your viewers and help to keep everyone safe! That’s a huge responsibility, but you all shoulder your commitment to the public very well. Thank you for your dedication and diligence to be the best because you are! Again, thank you. Chris and Linda Decorah IA.
While the weather, men and women on KWWL have always been admired since I moved to Iowa in 1978, Schnack has been there for so much of that time that I look forward to his posts and predictions on a daily basis. Maybe it’s because he came from New Jersey and I came from Long Island New York (😂) I look forward to his posts and forecasts as well as all the forecasts on KWWL. They are more accurate than most that I’ve come across in the past, and I plan my day around what the weathers going to be like now that I’ve moved to Iowa where the changes are so great, and we can go from summer to winter and skip fall and other extremes. Thank you to StormTrack7 and to Schnack!
I used to love this app! Simple and easy to use. If there was a weather watch or warning, there would be a single red banner at the top of the home page. You could click it for written detailed information. Yesterday alone there were 2 red banners at one time. Neither one said what the warning was. You had to click into a video, and the video showed that the warning wasn’t even for my county let alone my city! So unhelpful! Today the click bait is: watch to see how muggy the weekend will be. If I wanted to watch the weather I would use my TV. The old version offered little clips in addition to written detailed forecasts, but didn’t force me to click a video just so I could get details about the weather. It’s so frustrating. I’m debating deleting and finding a new app. 3 stars only because it does tell you the current weather and forecast, but the new update is the worst!
