iRig Recorder LE

This app is absolutely terrible. None of the editing functions seem to work at all. Don’t even bother trying to record video on it. It won’t let you export the video if it’s too big. And if you try to trim the video down so that it’s small enough to export it will either mess up or corrupt your file. So it’s a lose lose. I lost an entire recording of a rehearsal because the app malfunctioned. Do yourself a favor and don’t use this app or I rig gear at all. i’m going to test out to see if the IR rig hardware will work better with some other apps but I have my doubts.

Trying to record something that matters? Find an alternative to this app. Any tiny interruption will not only end the recording, but delete anything that was already recorded. This can be things like running out of storage, hitting the lock button, or even accidentally touching the bar at the bottom to go to the Home Screen. No matter how long you’ve been recording, these actions will completely wipe away that session. So, I must repeat, find an alternative if you don’t want to run the risk of losing your audio. This glaring flaw is the chief amongst many lesser issues: - difficult to understand navigation through the app - sync between audio and video slowly deteriorates the longer a recording goes (it seems to be about 1/2 second of slippage every 30 minutes of recording) - the most basic tools are locked behind a paywall even though I paid $100 for the interface to begin with - the list goes on Developers: Please update your app for 2022, as I’m actively looking for alternatives.

We use the iRig to livestream on Facebook and it has worked great until recently. Now it doesn’t work anymore. We start the iRig app before we start the livestream like it says to and it starts but it won’t keep working. We use to be able to stream without starting the app but now we can’t and it won’t keep working after we start it
