Wonderful concept and a must for anyone who grew up watching SNL, but the app is terribly buggy and rarely works properly. Videos start playing twice with a couple seconds delay making it impossible to listen to due to the audio overlap. Videos start playing without selecting any. When a video is selected it plays something completely different (really frustrating). These are some of the obvious ones.
Please fix these issues - it seems that the developers put out frequent updates (which is a good thing) but the updates seem to fix old bugs and introduce new ones. I can't imagine this app being overly complicated as far as the developers are concerned (basically a simple video archive) so for the life of me I can't fathom why after all this time (the app has been around for a while now) why it's still as bad as it is.
Fix it so it works properly and I won't hesitate to change my rating from 2 to 5 stars and I am sure folks like me, who have been a loyal fan of the show since the 70s, will do the same.

With the latest update the app requires that you establish a user profile/account with NBC. I refuse to do that. I just want to be able to view clips from Saturday Night Live like I used to but now I can’t. Displeased with SNL’s big brother approach to sharing its content. Will likely be deleting the app now since it’s unusable to me in its current state.
Update: I appreciate you’re reading and responding to my initial review; however, you’re still missing the point entirely. I never asked for and do not want your suggested viewings. I have been a fan of SNL since I was old enough to watch it. As a teen I attended several live performances at 30 Rock. In fact, before I could drive a car (and well before internet existed) I used to take a train to NYC from CT to watch archived tapes of episodes in their entirety. As I stated previously, the last iteration was better and usable. The current one requires information that I don’t want to give and for reasons that I don’t agree with so I’m no longer willing to use it.

I just want to enjoy the SNL sketches. I’d rated you 5-stars. I don’t want my info sold. I don’t want ads targeted to “my interests”. It is fun just to look at a sketch next to the one I just watched. At 70, I’ve watched SNL since it started. I’m on the site to see the sketches, nothing more. I regret that you have to pursue this “profile” model to harvest money from your data lists. Much like “iTunes” that tries to trick you into signing up for a $$ MONTHLY fee to get “millions of songs”. I love SNL, However, I am just tired of having my data spread all over the cloud-estsphere. I good, I’m gone.
