I liked this app better before the update when you could read the whole headline. Now, after the update, you only see the first couple of words in each headline. You have to open the story to read the whole thing. PS it doesn’t get me to open more stories.

A mediocre app just got worse. Before this last update, the local temperature was displayed on the home page. But now, you have to poke the weather, then poke around until you finally find the current temperature. Much quicker to use the Weather Channel app. This latest update didn’t improve the lousy news reporting. Still has the usual missing and misspelled words, shoddy updates to previous stories, and spotty local news. Seems like most stories are second-hand from KNOP’s sister stations or from national news feeds.

Says that it streams KNPL @ 6:30, but instead stream Wheel Of Fortune. Air Play functionality could be improved. When you click on the live banner on the landing screen upon start up to begin live streaming, it opens up the Safari browser to stream from the browser instead of opening the in-app stream that is available from the menus. Great app though.
