Love this app, but it didn’t transfer the kids to the updated event. We copied last years event and everything went smoothly, except for the fact that the kids lists did not transfer. I can’t go back now and view the old lists, so there is no way for me to remember each item I had listed for them. I always add items throughout the year as I think of ideas, and unfortunately they are lost now. Can you give any insight on how I could have done it successfully, or is it a function that is not available yet? Thanks.
Today we had our work secret Santa. Last year we used this app with no issues. However this year there was a total of 10 people that were sent the invitation. 2 people who were did not accept the invite and did not draw names or make any lists. Unfortunately the app still included them in the drawing even though they never selected ‘draw a name’. With this being said these two individuals were still put in for the name draw for all of the participants. Myself and one other coworker did not receive a secret Santa gift- myself and this other coworker had gotten gifts for the names that we drew. I’m very disappointed that the app did not remove their names from the draw. This issue could have been avoided if the app had removed their names from the draw. Our office will no longer be using this app. Guess we need to stick to the classic hat draw.
I just used this app this year. I love how you can make a wishlist and you can exclude people from getting a person. I like that you can choose what kind of gifts you can get people right on the app. It makes it easier to shop for someone instead going inside a store to purchase. It’s great for people who can’t get together to draw names for secret Santa. I would recommend adding Target as a store you can get gifts from and adding a minimum option for gift. I like that it has a maximum gift amount. But if you’re wanting to gift someone more than one present there should be a minimum amount on there too for it can be fair.
