Can locate wineries throughout the state. If you are an enthusiast you can create an itinerary for a weekend winery crawl. You can check in to the wineries and collect winery stamps in your passport for prizes. Works great on my iPhone.
Location was not accurate, was in the parking lot after going to a wine tasting room right next to the building and it said we weren’t within 1000 meters
I am so glad to see there is now a much needed app for anyone traveling to visit the great wineries of NJ. This app is aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate, and professionally designed. It has great functionality such as a favorite button that lets you save wineries or events. A map that allows you to track down the wineries in your a area and a list of wineries complete with the times and days they are open for tastings. There are just a few things that prevent me from giving this 5 stars. First, the map. If you don't provide location data it will only show you the first 25 wineries in NJ alphabetically. This is not really the best view as some people may not want to provide location data and still look at the full list. Understandably their load time will be longer but it is better than leaving out nearly half of the states wineries based on their name. The events listed are currently only wine trail weekends. It would be beneficial to add events held at individual wineries to this list as well (the way it is on the website). Finally, the wine passport program looks wonderful but isn't up and running yet. Until then it is difficult to give a complete review of this application.
