When I was younger I loved playing this game, and many games from this creator in general. So I randomly decided to redownload it for a little fun. But then I had the idea to evolve my guy to the max level, thinking “how long could it possibly take?” Months. It took me MONTHS. The thing about lonely guy is that you have to wait a solid five minutes before you can continue to level up your guy. But waiting five minutes each time is hella boring, and there is no kind of minigame or other mechanic to entertain the player. So you either wait (boring), you watch an ad (boring), or you do something else. Guess which option is the most desirable? And the lonely guy himself is kind of a douche lowkey. Instead of facing his fears and talking to people and making connections, he has you push away the happy people so he can remain alone. Wth dude they were just being happy! (But lowkey I get it…) At a certain point (around level 15?) I ran out of things to upgrade so the only thing I could buy was the thing to restore stamina. It’s whatever but it would’ve been better and so much easier to have better upgrades. That’s about it. The game is kinda mid but it holds a special place in my heart 🥹
I’m the kind of person that is always on the lookout for cute, odd games, and this one was perfect. The graphics of cute, and the point of the game is really funny. I love leveling up my stuff, and I’m glad that, unlike other games, you don’t have to wait forever for happy guys to appear. There are not a lot of ads, and I can live with that. It would be nice if you could pay to get rid of ads, (Even if there are barely any) but that’s just my opinion. The events are fun and the bosses aren’t really hard. It’s an appropriate game and I like playing it. I recommend this game.
I admit at first I was skeptical about Lonely Guy. He didn't look so lonely. There was lots of happy guys all around him. But then lonely guy scared all the happy guys away. Just like me. And I'm a lonely guy. So I began to think he was really a lonely guy. Then I saw him smile when he scared all the happy guys away and he was all alone. That is when I knew without a doubt that he is a lonely guy just like me.
Terrible App Appeared! Lonely Guy likes to be alone. Now, take care this guy. Get over many terrible events, and drive happy guys away. He will gr...
