Island Experiment

This game is so not what I saw on the advertisements. It’s more like a FarmVille kind of game. I fell like you can’t really play this game or enjoy it without paying money(really money) you have side quests but you literally have to dig plants and stuff out of your path In order to get to the next place and before you know it, you’ve removed 5 plants and you are out of turns and you either have to spend money to get another 60 points or you have to wait like 5 hours for them to refill. On the actual game you have to have food in order to remove any plants that are in your way and in order to have food you have to spend money that you make in the game and the only way you can really make money is if you stay active on the app to collect it because it won’t collect when you’re gone. An example is you have to spend 25 coins for 6 pieces of food and those 6 pieces of food can remove like 1 or 2 bushes. In order for you to make those 25 coins you have to stay on the app doing nothing at least 9 min because the houses that give you money give you some every 3 minutes and I the starter house is only like 10 coins. You can’t really enjoy the game because most of the time you are staring at the game while waiting for money or food. I tried this game out for about a week I was hoping that it would get easier to make money and food the higher level I was but it didn’t get any better. I’m uninstalling today

I love the game but most days I’m in the verge of deleting it because we have to used entirely too much energy and/or food to complete the quests. Something needs to be done about the amount of energy and food used per item to be cleared. Then to top it off we’re put in a time frame to complete the islands with little food and special items. I’m on the island where the gnats are and I can only play for 5 minutes every few hours because the game doesn’t give enough spray cans. I’m getting highly disappointed in this game. I only downloaded this game because the ad made it seem as though we could solve puzzles along the way. I wish that the developers would at least do something about the amount food/energy/special items it takes to complete tasks during quests. At least give more supplies or make another way to get or make the supplies. It takes away from the fun of the game when you can’t play long. We’ve already been fooled by the ads at least give us all a reason to keep the game. The story lines are great and the boards are beautiful just please improve the supply problem. First of all, this game is NOT what they advertised it to be. It made you think you would actually have to use your brain in order to solve puzzles. So not the case! This game is just Farmville on crack. But unfortunately it's highly addicting which is why I'm still playing and actually spent real money for an extra worker. Hence, the sucker. My biggest complaint though is the side quests. You are given a set limit of food and resources, and there is no possible way to get to the end and obtain the adorable character for your island unless you spend your own money or gems. I have even annoyed everyone around me by setting an alarm/timer every 2 and 3 hours in order to collect said food/resources. Only time I didn't do this was when I was asleep. But I was unable to complete the quest. Didn't even come close so I know it's not possible without spending my own dough. Not sure why the developers couldn't just make it challenging to obtain instead of impossible. Not everyone has money to blow on these games, and kids who like to play definitely don't either. All anyone cares about is making that money though, so I know it'll never change...no matter how many 1 Star Reviews they get because of it. If you're reading this review to determine if you want to play, do yourself a favor and don't even start, because it is addicting but truly just a waste of time and money.
