This is a great app to find new healthy foods. Ingredients and nutrition information is even included for each product. I highly recommend giving it a shot and trying some of the products. Thank you BerryCart!
This app states in their Help section that they pay most rebates within 24 hours. As a new user I submitted two on a Thursday and by Sunday they had not been paid. I sent them a message, and they then paid it. I submitted for another rebate on a Sunday. It’s now Wednesday, and it hasn’t been paid. I wrote to them on Tuesday and Wednesday, and there’s been no response. Also, no where in the signup process or the app Help section does it indicate the minimum to cash out is $5.00. You only find that out when you try to cash out so there’s no way of knowing what type of commitment you’re getting into. They have a VERY limited selection of rebates and many of the items are rare so it could take awhile to even reach $5.00. The app has the feel that it’s being run out of someone’s basement. I would steer clear. It does not have the professional feel of Ibotta, Checkout 51 or SavingStar. They pay most rebates within minutes to 24 hours, and have always responded to messages I’ve sent. It’s a web business; you have to respond to be successful! What other recourse do we have? I will be calling the manufacturer of the item that they still haven’t reimbursed to let them know how this reflects poorly on their product. Beware of BerryCart.
For the most part I love the app. It's easy to use and the rebates are returned to you fast. Where my disappointment comes from is the lack of brands and products available. I rarely buy frozen food or pre-made sauces so my options for what purchases I can earn rebates on are extremely limited. I also just see the same rebate for the same products and brands for months on end which also limits what I can earn. I'd get more use out of this app if they expanded and added more products and brands. Also rotate the offers more frequently so make it fair and even encourage shoppers to try new foods and other brands. I buy a ton of healthy products and would like to see some of them on this app Overall I think this app has great potential, but needs work in order to be more inclusive.
