This used to be a terrific app I recommended to all my teens as they started out on their own. But it’s going downhill. It fails to find the sale I’m standing right in front of. For some reason, it won’t add two of the stores I’ve done most of my shopping at for several years. I keep recommending Favado add them. Nothing. Lately, the thing I use it most for doesn’t work. The search function returns no results. Come on. Surely ground beef is on sale *somewhere*? Or cranberries, days before Christmas? It just says “no sales items found”, no matter what item I put in. I gave it two stars because it used to be good. Otherwise, I’d give it just one. Please update and fix this function and I’ll give it 3 stars. Add Fresh Thyme Farmers Market and Earth Faire, and I’ll give it 4. Both are multi-state chains. Start Adding sales on time for 5.
This app has seen virtually no improvement in its search function or filters since I started using it a few years ago. It has become even more unreliable as of late, no longer listing sales for my local Whole Foods and Natural Grocers. Why bother even listing these supermarkets if we can’t use them? In addition, items listed either arrive late (sometimes you have to wait 1-2 days after the start of a new weekly sale before seeing any data), and often incomplete. Just now King Soopers is offering a sale on butter that wasn’t even mentioned on Favado. Coupons continue to be difficult to sift through, download and print, and sometimes the links to these coupons lead to nowhere The end result is that I have to check the circulars and other coupon apps anyway, defeating the purpose of using Favado to begin with, which was supposed to help me save time. Very disappointed, so much potential and yet it continues to deteriorate in quality.
This app is the best one out there! It's easy to use and understand. Tells you the price after coupons and lets you compare deals with other stores. My only request is to be able to compare more than 5 stores together because my area has quite of few shopping options. BUT I have saved a ton of money and love the app!! Thank you!
