LoungeKey

The LoungeKey app used to be fast and straightforward — just the way a travel companion should be. But now, after the latest update, we get a white screen with a spinning wheel every time we open it. Why? It adds nothing and only slows things down when we need quick access to our lounge info. Honestly, the developer who introduced this deserves an award for worst UX decision of the year. Please bring back the snappy experience we had before. Travelers value speed, not unnecessary animations.

Overall, this product is pointless. Loungekey, the card issuer, and the lounges all blame each other when something doesn’t work as promised, which is almost always. I’ve only been able to access a lounge once in about 10 visits to lounges that are part of the program. For an example of this responsibility-dodging, just take a look at the Loungekey FAQ. They say that if you have a complaint about an employee at a lounge, contact your card issuer 😂😂 Every time I open the app, it wants me to add “payment card” info (even though it already has my card saved) and wants to charge me something. There’s even a checkbox for approving payment. It gives a message that I need to verify the card before the payment is processed. When I click on “see payment details”, it just shows my card number. I’m not sure why the app wants to charge me, and what it could possibly be trying to charge me for, but that’s definitely not the trap I’m going to fall for. This whole thing is just broken.
