Calculator Pro Elite

This one suits my job figuring needs perfectly. I love the history tape because it stores your calculations forever and you can even track down calcs by date. They also listened to my feed back and put insert Calc back in. Great Dev!

There are soooo many calculator apps on the AppStore. After a lot of trial-and-error, I finally found this one which is exactly what I was looking for: a ‘better’ version of the iPhone’s built-in calculator. Specifically, what I was looking for was: 1) show the calculation as you type (to avoid typos) 2) history tape (so much easier than Memory keys - although they’re available too) 3) ad-free, even if it costs a few dollars 4) no subscription purchases 5) not bloated with currency converters, unit converters (the same developer makes a great converter app, by the way), graphing, or other advanced features I don’t need 6) attractive interface 7) active development with frequent updates This app has it all! And the interface is even highly customizable! My search for a replacement calculator is complete.

Compared to a financial, algebraic, RPN calculator I use every day, this is simpler. So far, I have not performed algebraic functions, only simple math. It displays concurrently the entries which have produced the answer shown. Great for a visual check of the entries as you recall inputting them! Most helpful ;-)
