Basic Calculator Pro

This calculator functions well, is easy on the eyes, and offers a display of previous calculations. For basic calculations, it is my go-to calculator! (UPDATE: On the pro side, I appreciate that this app does not collect data. For some time now, I have been working to get rid of apps that unnecessarily collect data, so thanks to this one for its approach on that. On the con side, I wish the app would not periodically interrupt me to ask for yet another review. Is there a way to stop this?) UPDATE JUNE 2023: The constant interruptions asking for reviews continue to be an annoyance. Although I have liked this app for many years, those interruptions are causing me to consider switching to a different calculator app. Dropping a star due to this persistent problem.

Once Again!!! . . . After using for years, *forced* to leave *another* review based on a Nag screen that interfers with my calculations by randomly popping up in the middle of the calculating process. This is just too much and I hope to get rid of it yet again *permanently* (fingers crossed) by leaving this forced review. I say “permanently” because I went through this years ago after my initial purchase and never expected to be plagued by it a second, third and fourth time and now a *FIFTH* time! Bottom Line: performance = five stars, interference with performance from forcing user to rate and review = one star, total average = three stars.

You’ve finally found it, the only basic calculator you need on iOS! I have used this one for years & it works well on both my new iPad Pro w/ ios 15 & an old device still running 10.3.1! I especially love that it keeps a running history on the side of past entries. It has taken over any other calculator app I have ever tried.
