First, the bad: Unit “Ascension” (hero progression) is pretty confusing and you can royally screw your progression by pressing the wrong button and ascending the wrong unit. Getting a unit to “Legendary” needs to only be done ONCE, to get that same unit beyond Legendary you only need lower level duplicates. Ergo, if you make 2 Legendary, you are SCREWED. I know from experience. With that aside, the progression systems in the game are very satisfying and make a lot of sense. I have spent $0 and am top 100 on my server within a few weeks (Each server has a small population, but even so). The game has new unlocks until very far into it, with a number of game modes and such to keep it fun and prevent you from getting ‘too stuck’. The units are interesting to play with. AI HATERS BEWARE: This game unabashedly uses AI A LOT. If that’s an ethical problem for you, you might stay away. The brakes do get thrown on after about a week of playing to incentivize you to spend. If you’re a tad patient, though, you can get past those barriers with natural progression. The events are very generous, giving you many copies of units to ‘Ascend’ pretty highly. You get a LOT of pulls steadily as you progress, it feels great to be able to do pulls for free every day or couple of days.
Probably my favorite gacha game i’ve ever played and i’ve played alot of them. It feels more generous than most gacha games. As a F2P player, I haven’t had any problem rolling for characters i wanted or needed. I was even able to save gems and resources and still progress in the beginning with the lower tier characters until it was time to upgrade into an actual comp. And if you keep getting bad rolls or not getting characters you want, you can always switch servers and try again for better rolls and gameplay experience. Overall good game in my opinion. Also forgot to mention the divination/tarot/horoscope readings are fun to do.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great game with deep strategy — one important feature request I’ve been playing Motto Immortal for a while now and I really enjoy how strategic the team building is. The gods are unique, the synergy between them matters a lot, and the progression feels rewarding. It’s not just about power, it’s about building the right team for the right situation, which makes the game very engaging. The visuals, abilities, and mythological theme are also very well done. You can tell a lot of thought went into designing the characters and how they work together. However, there is one feature that would make the experience much better for players: Please add Team Preset Slots (Team 1, Team 2, Team 3) that we can save and switch between. Right now, every time we want to change our team for a different mode (boss fights, towers, farming, PvE, etc.), we have to manually remove and re-add each god. This becomes very time-consuming, especially for players who use different team combinations depending on the situation. If we could: • Create and save multiple teams • Name them (for example: “Boss Team”, “Farm Team”, “PvP Team”) • Switch between them with one tap …it would make team management much smoother and improve the overall gameplay experience a lot. This game has amazing strategy potential, and adding team presets would let players fully enjoy that without the frustration of rebuilding teams every time. Overall, fantastic game — just needs this quality-of-life feature to make it perfect.
