Best Accountability

This is rated 4/5 for me. The app works great. It really does. The issues that one might have with it initially are that it prevents one from using the potential distractions that is potentially harmful to ones health or relationships. I find that if I open it and use it with an open mind that I need this to be safe within myself, then I am ready for the extra minutes of my time being wasted waiting. It’s an adjustment. I am insanely thankful for the app as it has kept me safe, and therefore my family safe (relationally). No porn usage or not safe social media (which is getting increasingly unsafe for men). The one adjustment that I wish it did was to turn on the app until I turn it off. Stop turning it off every single time I put the phone down or turn the screen off. I have enough battery to last. Just leave it on. Maybe post warnings every 10% or 25% of the battery drop stating that it is still on. Please please make this persistent, or at least an option in the settings (maybe with an extra clear understanding of how it will affect the phone battery). This would move my rating to a 5. It is my one large frustration. A different but similar frustration is that it takes forever to log in and start the app when my internet or phone signal is low. Stop that. If I am offline or fully online, it takes 0 seconds to open the app and use it. My suggestion to fix that is to make the opening and starting the monitoring process as persistently offline. Run a background check for when the app IS connected to the Internet/ accountability server, and send the information directly then. I don’t mind the app using space on my phone, I have enough. But I really dislike having to wait for 5-10 minutes when if I just put the phone in airplane mode, the app starts right away. Thank you for saving my marriage!

This app rocked a few years ago. I used to use it, and even with the iOS issues, it worked well. They’ve completely changed how it’s worked with iOS now (understandable, not my main issue due to the issue I’m currently in) but you do NOT get a free trial of their updated interface. So if you don’t like making your partner do a lot to even use their phone; don’t get this app. They will make you pay first, realize the interface is not necessarily easy to use, and not refund you. They said it’s because I was a prior customer, but I was a prior customer years before they changed the entire set up. Unless you are 100% certain you’d like this; don’t give them your money. They won’t refund you. Really upsetting.

There should be a partner view in the app. Very confusing please update it!
