Way way too many ads. To the point where the game is unplayable without paying to remove them. It’s not uncommon to have to retry a level many times, and you only get about 4 retries before an ad break. Which takes upwards of 45 seconds. So 30 seconds of play time and then a minute of ads. Terrible. And then it will let you beat 2 levels max in a row without giving you an ad, even if you beat them first try. Game itself is fun. But there doesn’t seem to be any consistency with the level difficulty. It feels like the game is getting harder, then all of a sudden there will be 10-15 levels in a row where it feels like the devs gave up. The hard levels are good. The ones where you have to think and retry several times. But those seem to be the minority. All in all, could be a good game but it’s got some fixes that it needs.
So I actually really like this game. It doesn’t shove adds down your throat at every opportunity, even after you progress pretty far. The levels do start to repeat after a bit but I actually didn’t mind it and noticed there were even a few new levels being thrown in even past level 200. But… I got to level 235 and I closed the app to go do something else, and now when I come back it loads the start up menu thing and lets me push play, but after I do that everything is black, the hi is still there like I could get a hint or skip and all of the stuff, even the pop up add is there, but the rest is black it’s unplayable. I even tried skipping it and it was still black. I was pretty disappointed because I actually really liked this game but it’s essentially unplayable, unless I want to play there weird version of snake (which is my least favorite part of the game btw).
I think this game is well worth the three dollars to remove ads. Some of the puzzles are quite challenging, and they progress nicely throughout the first 150 or so, and then after that some of the puzzles repeat. I’ve played about 210 of them. Still fun though. It would be nice if you could go back and replay puzzles. Overall though, this is one of the better games out there. Kinda reminds me of the block dude game we used to play on the TI83
