The time frame to finish even an easy puzzle is ridiculously short so in order to finish a level you have to watch at least 3-4 ads. Plus there’s hardly any reason to play. There’s no tournaments, no extras like creating a background. I started getting these candy canes that I could use to create a background scene for Xmas and I thought that was cool but after getting the tree and a couple gifts under it and a couple stockings hung on a fireplace. The scene was finished. I’m still collecting candy canes. I have over 200 of them but there’s nothing to do with them so why am I collecting them? It’s not optional. You get them when you complete a level. What’s the point? The ads are insanely long and whoever said you could skip them is wrong! I personally refuse to download a game that requires that much advertising that it needs to run for at least a full min. Sounds petty but if you have to watch 3-4 ads every level that’s just too much time on ads and not nearly enough playing time. The help bonuses are ridiculously expensive so you’re out of coins very quickly and because there’s next to nothing in ways to even earn those help bonuses, you have to purchase them if you want to use them. I play other games that have extra things like races and side puzzles that allows you to earn help bonuses. This game would be much better and attract far more players if it had some much needed changes.
For some reason when I want to opt to activate tools to help me escape, the app doesn’t let me but instead takes me to and ad that doesn’t stop. No way of getting out of it, no closing it, no visible timer. Nothing, until you click on “GET.” Then all of a sudden it decides to work and take you to the App Store! So, unless you agree to get the new game it’s been pushing you have no way of declining. The only workaround seems to be to close the whole game and restart it. Then when you want to get help it goes into another frozen “GET”! So, I’ve been “getting” the games it forces me into getting to release the ad and then turn around and delete the unwanted game. Also, sometimes single blocks conveniently are partially covered by a “laughing/grinning pumpkin” so that you can no longer move the block. Up to close to 30 seconds goes towards trying to get the block to move! Then there are other blocks that seem to not want to move! I thought it’s my dirty screen or malfunctioning iPhone. But soon I realized that it only happens with this game! Stop with the tricks and the greed!
I’m playing a half dozen of these slide block puzzle games. While I don’t like the ads after every game, the actual game is my favorite of the genre. It’s challenging enough to keep me saying “one more level,” but not so frustrating that I give up. There is also a pause function for when life happens. Ironically, I couldn’t find a place to enter a rating… I had to search it out on the App Store.
