AI Photo Video Generator: AURA

Update: After careful consideration, I’ve decided to rate this app at 5 stars. Why? Upon researching the costs associated with integrating LLMs into an app, it is clear that the costs associated with that are extremely high. As a developer, I’ve leaned, albeit slowly, that the better the inputs the better the outputs. That applies to me as well. This app is better than most in this category. I absolutely would have subscribed if it were: a) priced lower, b) a free trial had been offered. Note -See update above.

Downloaded this app from an Instagram advertisement because it showed that you can use a filter that makes you look like you’re with a celebrity. Upon opening the app you’re told to even access most of the options you have to become a pro. I really wanted to try the filter out so I got it. When I tried using it with SEVERAL different clear pictures it gave me an error message saying something had occurred!! I paid for something I can’t even use and it was a waste of my money and my time. Not even sure how I would even get refunded for this since Apple is picky and there’s no support within the app besides having to email and wait a long time. 1 star unless this bug gets fixed or I get refunded. Don’t get it if this is what you wanted to do.

This app generates realistic looking photos. Much better quality than other apps. It is fast too. It would be nice if they had a feature where I could upload my husband’s pics with mine so we can do couples photos. Right now, they only offer solo pictures.
