2026 LA Marathon

Could use improvements, but not too bad for its first marathon implementation. It gave split times based on every 5 km. As a runner, I liked the event notifications and I had the choice to publicly allow everyone to track me. Other apps were not as user-friendly and I was unaware in those apps you had to accept tracking requests, even though I’d be the one to send the invite. However, friends who were tracking me, did say that sometimes the app would not show my location (but I’ll blame that on the bad service with so many people in one location). I also understood that the app gives more of an approximation of your location, too. Looking forward to improvements, good so far!

This app works so much better for tracking runners on race day than the one from the previous years. We were able to see where our runner was all along the way and it made it easier to find him when we were waiting for him! The app was easy to use and allowed me to cheer on the people I love without having to be there physically present. Due to unexpected events I was unable to go and was extremely devastated this event meant so much and found this app on whim this morning. It allowed me to go through the course with them and also put me at ease if they kept moving it meant they were okay!
