I really liked the idea, but the execution is flawed. Multiple times I opened the app, went for a drive, and later checked to see the app had crashed and only a fraction of my journey was logged. Running on a 16 Pro, it is laggy and often crashes (sometimes before even fully booting). Excellent idea. Needs refinement.

Whenever I open the app it freezes and forces me out of the app, and it is only tracking my exploration when I open the app even though I have it set on always. Edit: it only does it when you are going fast, like on a highway, and sometimes at night too.

Hello to whoever is reading this. 👋 I never write App Store reviews because, well for one, I really don’t have any use for that many apps, but more importantly, due to the thousands of nonsense 😵‍💫 reviews flowing 🌊throughout most popular apps’s review sections. So why would I bother writing a quality review if no one’s gonna see it, you know? HOWEVER 👆, I now find myself in a unique scenario I haven’t been in before. An app with no reviews that ACTUALLY has a practical purpose, and creating a review is actually relevant as it just came out 2 weeks ago? My time is now 🗣️. This app is pretty much the definition of a hidden gem, I’m surprised I was able to find it. It’s literally like that other fog map app that cost 30$ for some reason, but with 2 of my favorite things, being free and minimalism. This app takes like 5 seconds to download and is as simple as it can possible be, and that’s what makes it special. Literally don’t add any more features, this app is perfect the way it is. If you’re reading this Mathieu Dutour, know you’ve made a really cool thing, and I hope this app stays up, the way it is now, for years to come. I have a feeling this app is gonna blow up this year, so I’m writing this before that happens. Thank you! 🙏
