It is $20 for the year but honestly the best $20 I have ever spent. $20 that usually goes to 1 breakfast saved me a year of fighting my scrolling urges. This app is great for those who don’t want to delete social media accounts but also wants to stay off. I always had screen time or would do the constant delete the app redownload. This helps give you “obstacles” to be more aware that you are in the apps but what I like is that I can block the apps for 24 hours. So I will go on it for 5 minutes than hit a button to block for 24 hours to help with self control.
The minimalist phone app is a one-of-a-kind find that helps me reduce my screen time!! I never thought I’d like an app like this but I actually love the simple interface and easy navigation. It’s by far the simplest of all the launcher apps I’ve tried. And when I had an issue with an update, the development team was amazing to help me get it back up and running. My only two suggestions would be to allow for an option for 12 hr time, and to let the user choose the size of the text on the widget, as it can be a bit small for me to read. Other than that, no complaints!!
I’ve tried probably 6 apps before this one at this point, and this by far the best. It doesn’t ask for money or a subscription, it just lets you use it, and the apps design is really intuitive. Don’t get put off by having to manually add widgets, every app like this does the same thing, and this one does it best. Pro tip to make it even better: download your most addicting apps (I.e. Instagram ) and lock them behind a hidden screen which only a friend knows, no more doom scrolling!
