I’ve been trying to pay for a carry-on for days now, and my payment keeps declining. I’ve tried both debit and credit cards, Visa and Mastercard. Nothing works. I can only guess this is because these are American debit/credit cards, and they might only accept Mexican debit/credit cards. But if this is the case, tell us. Don’t have us trying over and over again just to be cryptically told payment declined, and the only explanation you can offer is the info we input might be wrong. If you only accept Mexican cards, tell us up front so we’re not just wasting our time.

I called to attempt to cancel a passenger on our flight and obtain a refund. After being transferred once a lady answered and was extremely rude. I was trying to be nice but after her frequently cutting me off and talking over me loudly I grew frustrated with her. When asked to speak to another representative because she continuously repeated exactly what I said she denied and said to hang up and call back. Mind you I had already struggled multiple times to speak to a live agent before. I hung up in the middle of her talking over me again. She then sent me a personal harassing email. I didn’t care of the disrespectful profanity message she sent. I responded to her the same way of course. However, the fact she accessed my personal information for her to personally harass me is what is alarming. If she has access to my email I’m pretty sure she has access to my home address, Full name, date of birth, and payment information. Imagine how many clients she has done this too? I have proof of everything. How can I obtain the name and supervisor information to report this employee.

I wasn’t even able to fly with Volaris on March 30, 2025, at 4:45 PM because they overbooked the flight and canceled two of the three seats I had booked months in advance—one for my brother and one for my sister. When I tried to check in, they allowed me to check in but didn’t let me check in my siblings, instructing me to go to the front desk. When I got there, the agent told me that I, along with my two minor siblings, had been bumped off the flight due to overbooking—this happened three hours before our scheduled departure. To make matters worse, Volaris made no effort to help. They didn’t provide compensation, a hotel stay, food, or any kind of support. I was forced to book a last-minute flight with another airline for the next day since there were no available flights that same night. This cost me over $2,000, plus an extra $100 for food and drinks while I had to stay up all night and all day at the airport. We were stranded there for over 14 hours, and during this time, both of my siblings suffered from dehydration due to the lack of proper rest and resources. The lack of professionalism and customer service from Volaris was beyond frustrating. This was my first experience with them, and it will definitely be my last. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with Volaris.
