I never write reviews, but I had to for this app. This is the best resource for learning real-life French. Highly recommend as a supplement to studying the language. 6pm in Paris centers lessons around French short films, so you’re listening to genuine French dialogue which is excellent for improving your listening comprehension. Plus, you’re exposed to such a broad range of stories and topics through the films that you learn exponentially more vocab and useful phrases than via a traditional course or language app. This authentic immersion has helped me improve my French more in 3 months than in 1 year of taking classes in person. If you’ve read this far, trust me - buy it already!

My partner is French and I’ve always struggled to keep up in conversations with his friends and family. This app really helped me understand what’s being said in realtime and I feel so much more confident engaging in conversations. I love their After Shorts talk shows where they break down the expressions you hear in the short films. Honestly, I wish I had started using this app a lot sooner! 💯 recommend to anyone learning or perfecting their French.
