Doji: Try On Designer Fashion

Doji is pure brilliance in an app!! It’s definitely going to change the way people discover brands, find their style, play with fashion, and shop their favorite products. I’ve found it so useful in pasting product links in and seeing myself in the clothing before I buy something! There’s still a couple of kinks (likeness accuracy) but I’m excited to continue playing on the app and seeing how it evolves for the better!

The concept is interesting. But once I tried the app the avatar doesn’t even look like me in real life. I guess if you’re just trying the app for fun it might be fine, or just buying a very basic tshirt, sneakers or pants to see what it might look like. But once you want to try designers with more nuanced design (fabric, cut, volume, and how it fit on the body). Which was the main reason that drove me to try this app at the 1st place (because many brands have very limited sizes to choose from in real physical stores. Rick Owens might only have a large and a medium in their store in NY). The technology is not there yet. It looked flat, and I’m not sure if I’ll placed an 1k item based on the images I’m getting from this app. But otherwise a fun app to play with if you just want to play with mix and match with clothes.

I'm really enjoying the app so far! I think the concept is very smart and innovative however the execution can be questionable at times. I've specifically had difficulties with miniskirts because they will often turn into long skirts even though that's not what the image is. However, overall this app has a great concept and is off to a great start! I'm excited to see how the developers improve on the issues in the future! 🤍
