I really enjoy this app for reading books. I like that you get 3 free chapters every 6 hours instead of one like some other reading apps. However, the 2 things that led me to give 4 stars instead of 5 is that there seems to be a glitch when it says 6 chapters for free as it only gives me two. The other reason is the inconsistency in coins needed per chapter. If I’m going to buy coins, having a set coin requirement per chapter would help me know how many chapters I should be getting. Overall, a great app!

The books are decent, however the prices are absurd. Way too expensive. I know all the developers of these apps always defend themselves by saying they have to pay their writers. I understand that, but let’s face it, these books are not professionally written, and most are not professionally edited. They’re not worth the over $100 per book they end up being. It’s just not worth it. Even best sellers by professional authors don’t cost anywhere near that much, so please developers save the nonsense about having to pay your authors. They don’t need that much. Making their chapters so short that they have over 100 chapters for you to read and spend hard earned money on is absurd. I deleted it.

The basic idea is interesting, but unfortunately the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Chapters are only available in halves, and if you want to continue reading, you’re forced to either constantly watch ads or buy coins – which are quite expensive. If you do the math, unlocking a full book would cost over €100, which is ridiculously overpriced for a digital reading experience. What’s even more frustrating: chapters get unlocked automatically, and coins are deducted without asking for confirmation. It’s easy to lose track of your balance – or realize too late that the app has already “decided” for you. It’s a shame, because the concept had potential. Instead, it feels like the focus here is less on reading and more on squeezing money out of users.
