Lifeback: Screen Time Control

This app has helped me eliminate all the distractions and cheap dopamine from scrolling on social media. As a result I’ve been a lot more focused, getting a lot more things done. Strongly recommended! This is the only app that’s worked for me.

I did a 3 day trial and ended up not getting notified that I was gonna get charged. (Even tho they said they’d send me a reminder). The app doesn’t seem to work. I have 10 unblocks per day but it won’t let me unblock. I read other reviews and the dev response said to turn off focus mode. I tried that and I was able to unblock and it asked for how long. I said 15 minutes, but now all the apps that I had blocked are fully open and it’s been longer than 15 minutes. Id like to say it was a successful app with no issues but there’s a lot of bugs it seems. I paid for a year so maybe it’ll improve over time.

This app has saved me years of my life! Before using Control. Alt. Delete. I would spend hours a day scrolling Instagram and Tim tok lost in an endless loop of meaningless cheap dopamine drips. I used this app to curb my access to those apps, so now I’m able to spend more time with my friends and family! I won’t have to watch my little boy grow up through a phone screen.
