Growing up Austin used to be just like Dazed and Confused. Kids hitting mailboxes with bats. Parties all night. Just livin. L-I-V-I-N. Then zuck invented Instagram and overnight everybody turned into robozombie hipsters. I spent years, looking for irl stuff to do and fun people to do it with. I lost my wife, dog and kids in the process with nothing to show for it. And NO before you ask it was not because of my “mental health” issues. It was because everyone was conspiring to do fun stuff without me. Then Venu came out and my life has completely changed. Im out every night with the coolest people in Austin at the most epic events possible and I get to plan it all on the sleekest interface for an app since iMessages dropped. I truly am blessed and highly favored.
I just moved to a new city and used Venu to find a ton of fun things to do here! Got to watch a football game at a bar with some cool new people who have now become friends of mine. I’ve also been to two comedy shows I found on the app. All within 2 weeks of being here. It’s really great for constantly finding new interesting things to do. 10/10 would recommend
With every update, this app keeps getting better and better! I love the simplistic format and how easy it is to access other plans that people have made. If you are ever bored, looking to make new friends, or explore your surrounding area/community, you have to try this app out!
