Such a brilliant app! Says travel history so you know if they have ripped you off. They never would but it’s there just in case. There is a downside though, on the app when you are not in signal area your money disappears but when you get into WiFi again it comes back on. Having a offline mode would definitely benefit everyday users like me! Mostly though, brilliant.
I don’t use these buses very often so I have no idea how much it’s going to cost me to use the bus three or four times a day or weekly. There’s no mention of ticket prices. There’s no mention of what that weekly charge would be so how do I know how much to top up? There’s no advice on what to do if you haven’t got enough money or you are caught offguard it doesn’t tell you whether you need to tap off. It just tells you you need to tap on. It’s not really helpful. It could be so much better. I don’t have the energy to deal with this at all. You make it so complicated. It was like it was designed by a bus driver who knows all about their job. The general public don’t know everything about buses.
I had just signed up and setup the old app ready for starting 6th form in September. My account has been migrated over but some of the details haven’t transferred and the details entered for my B line card aren’t recognised in the new app. The new app doesn’t show that I’m a young person so i don’t know if I will be charged adult prices. Just feels like the old app had the information to hand and was tried and tested. Please resolve issues ASAP so that the app can be used confidently for us young students just starting out. Update: response received from developer with apologies for the bug with BLine card. So We ended up being charged effectively double for the journeys taken due to the issue with the App! we had to make contact to try and resolve as there was nothing on websites for help with this issue. Trent Barton couldn’t do anything and pointed us to a email address for “CR transport solutions”. They managed to solve the Bline issue by updating our account manually for us. Neither company seem to be able to or “want to” refund the over charge we’ve incurred. It’s not big money I get, but when will company’s have principles again?
