The game is great to destress and relax, having a nice a story and music to listen to while you play the game. This game is a casual game, so if you are looking to min-max and complete the game quickly, you aren’t getting the full experience. There are a 2 main critiques that I want to talk about that. Which are: 1 - Ads. It is fine to have an equivalent exchange where if I watch an ad I get something in return, but every 2-4 minutes an ad pops up which ruins my immersion and gets annoying very quickly. Also, having an ad at the bottom of the screen near where I have to click is also annoying which you can accidentally misclick or fat-finger. 2 - Translations. Although you can get the gist of what the characters are talking about, it still seems out of place and often needs a couple seconds longer than necessary to understand what they talking about. Here are some recommendations that I feel can add more to the game: 1 - Add more background songs. After playing for a while, the background theme felt stale and it would be great if you are able to buy some background songs with coins through decor as well. 2 - Character design. It would also be great if you are able to design your character in different outfits to fit the design of the shop (including the grandma).
as soon as i got this game from preordering, i was strangely addicted to the point that i got the ending in a day. for new players: first off, this game can be fairly casual (despite the fact i kinda spedran it haha). it does take a while to save up money tho... but i recommend this game for anyone who's a fan of managing stuff in games, simple but moving stories, and cute chibi art. pros: (i will yap) i appreciate the adorable art in the game. this is a more personal thing, but i like the homey feel of it? everyone is drawn in the same style (regardless of age) and it creates the feeling that everyone is similar and connected! the small stories and chats with the customers and the chefs are really nice! i won't spoiler them, but they made me think about how i should live my life. some characters are seniors, but you can still find something to relate to about them. cons: sometimes it isn't beginner friendly as i found myself frustrated that i couldn't make new dishes because 1. i couldn't throw out my old dishes or 2. sometimes i wasn't sure what prerequisite dishes i needed to get the recipe (i could see a small picture, but it gets a bit cumbersome scrolling through recipes to see which ones i needed to level up). and oh my gosh, the ADS. i can accept the stretched ad at the bottom and the occasional 5 second ad, but the reward ad is absolutely annoying. one time, i had to wait about 85 seconds for an ad to end! other times i waited 45 seconds or a minute! i might sound a little crazy, and maybe i am after playing this game for hours straight, but please change this!
Hello devs! Hope all is well. The game is going great for me as well as usual. I’ve fallen in love with all your characters and stories per game. However, this newest one that came out, whenever I seem to watch ads, the game sound goes away completely. When I do watch an ad, it’s the only thing with sound, but then after the ad, the game has no music or sound. It might be nitpicking of me, but I would love to hear the music and game sounds after an ad. Just my small issue. Thank you for your time and this game!
