I previously reported that the account deletion flow was confusing and made me think my account hadn’t actually been deleted. After I contacted the developer, they responded, confirmed deletion of my uploaded sensitive information, and later updated the account deletion flow to make it much clearer. I appreciate that they took the feedback seriously and improved the app. ————————————— This app has a serious privacy issue. I accidentally uploaded an image containing highly sensitive personal information. I then used the app’s “Delete Account” feature to remove my account and data. However, after using “Delete Account,” I was still able to log back in with the same registered account, and all of my previous data, including uploaded information, was still visible. This means the account deletion feature appears to be ineffective or misleading. This creates a serious risk to users’ privacy because users may believe their sensitive data has been deleted when it has actually remained on the app’s servers. I am extremely concerned that my sensitive personal information is still being stored and may be accessible. Please investigate this app urgently. I believe it should be required to properly delete user accounts and associated data, and should be removed from the App Store if it cannot comply with Apple’s privacy and account deletion requirements.
